The Vault Creation Process Simplified
In the new App Design, we created a more modular approach for vault creation and deployment making it intuitive for even new DeFi Users.
Velvet Capital’s goal is to develop DeFi infrastructure to make portfolio management on-chain a seamless experience. That's why we have just released a new app design, and the most significant improvement may be the Vault Creation and Deployment, which will be showcased in this post.
Improved UI for Vault Deployment
As a Vault Manager, when you create a vault, you will notice a more modular approach. This design is intended to be more intuitive, even for newer DeFi users.
Here is a walkthrough of the steps and design:
Entering Name and Description
Setting Deposit Range, Whitelisting, Transferability, Tokens Allowed, and Visibility
Setting Vault Fees
Confirming Settings and Deploying
After deploying the Vault, we also updated the vault asset screen. The major update on the Asset Allocation screen is seeing the current price while browsing and seeing the total allocation of the vault as you enter the values.

We've also updated the deposit screen and now include a slider if you'd like to deposit 25%, 50%, and so forth, into the vault.

Join DeFi Summer
To celebrate the launch of our new app design, we are kicking off DeFi Summer 2.0, where all users on BNB Chain and Arbitrum will earn 3x the TVL-based points! During the liquidity mining period, your reward will be 6x the points.
To join the competition, you can either create your own vault or deposit into one that has been created by a community member.
