April was one of the biggest months yet for Velvet.
We launched Perps trading directly inside the Velvet App, starting to roll out Velvet X our new invite-only trading interface and continued expanding the AI agent ecosystem across x402, Helixa, and onchain identity platforms.

AI Updates: Expanding the Agent Economy
April focused on improving the capabilities, reach, and identity of Velvet’s AI agents.
Advanced Perps Analysis with AI
We upgraded the AI agent’s functionality across the app and introduced a new Pairs Analysis category for Perps trading.
Users can now ask the agent things like:
“Create me a good risk-reward BTC trade with 5-10x leverage on Perps.”
The AI can analyze setups, structure trades, and help users navigate leveraged markets directly inside the trading interface.
Agent Live on 8004 Scan
Velvet’s agent is now publicly available on 8004 Scan, expanding its visibility and accessibility in the growing onchain agent ecosystem.
x402 Agent APIs
We launched 5 agent APIs through x402, enabling developers and external applications to interact with Velvet agents programmatically.
Helixa Integration
Velvet Unicorn is now integrated with Helixa, giving it identity, reputation, and trust layers for the emerging agent economy.
