Velvet Capital's Q2 Progress: Innovating in Decentralized Finance, Enhancements in Yield Farming, and Preparing for the Exciting v2 Launch – Revolutionizing Blockchain Asset Management
As we wrap up another successful quarter, we wanted to share with all our frens some of our progress and achievements! At Velvet Capital, we are building the world’s first institutional-grade DeFi asset management operating system! This quarter, our focus was on building out our v2, testing, auditing, and continued community growth!
It’s been a busy and productive year and nothing is changing there! August will be the biggest and most important month on the books for Velvet Capital! Our v2 will be live in August & we will start minting Founders Club NFTs as the genesis of Velvet DAO later in the month.

Q2 Highlights
Optimized Smart Rebalancing: We partnered with 0x and Pancake Swap 🥞 to optimize smart rebalancing. In addition, we’ve integrated 1:1 trading with platforms like 1inch🦄, Paraswap, and 0x.
Yield Farming 🚜🌾Functionality: We successfully integrated and tested yield farming functionality with our partners ApeSwap 🐵, Wombat 🐨, Biswap, Alpaca 🦙, Beefy 🐮, and others.
Contract Upgradability Logic 🧠: We implemented a system for contract upgradability, improving the flexibility and adaptability of our platform 🤓.
Extended Fee 💰 Module Functionality: We’ve extended our fee module functionality to allow asset managers to charge entry and exit fees, in addition to management and performance fees.
Advanced Slippage Controllers 📈: We added advanced slippage controllers to enhance trading efficiency.
Yield Farming 🚜🌾Rewards Claiming Functionality: We implemented a system for claiming yield farming rewards.
Vault Settings Change Functionality: We introduced a cool-down period for vault settings changes, increasing security and control for our users.
Cross-Chain 🔗 Swap Functionality: We integrated a cross-chain swap functionality via Li.Fi, providing more trading options for our users.
Security Audit for V2 with Peckshield: We’ve finalized the first security audit for V2 with Peckshield & are almost done with our second — ensuring that our platform is secure and reliable.
Marketing & Sales Highlights
Signed-up New Pilots 🧑🏽✈️: We now have over 40 crypto hedge funds, asset managers, DAOs, and other professional investors signed-up to pilot our v2!
V2 Beta-Testing: We conducted a broad V2 beta-testing with our community members and select institutional clients — gathering valuable feedback and insights to improve our platform.
