October was another step forward in Velvet’s mission to build the DeFAI Operating System.

We optimized our agents, improved trade flows, launched community pilots, expanded our exchange footprint, and kicked off new reward systems, all while bringing agentic portfolios one step closer to reality.

AI Upgrades: Faster, Smarter, More On-Chain

October was about speed, clarity, and deeper execution with agents getting sharper, more responsive, and more accessible across platforms.

Faster Agent Responses

We improved the speed and quality of all agent responses across the app: faster execution, better context, and quicker feedback in the chat.

Token Filtering by Parameters

Ask and receive. Agents can now filter tokens by criteria, like:

“Recommend a token with 1M market cap and 200k liquidity on Base”
“Show me the best low-cap gem between 500k–1M market cap”

Agent on Farcaster

Velvet now has a resident AI agent on Farcaster, posting hourly token picks and real-time crypto news - just like Twitter, but onchain.

Prompt-to-Strategy

We continued development on Prompt-to-Strategy, where users can type an idea and agents will build, allocate, and execute full DeFi strategies… fully automated. Now we are closing in on the start of the closed Beta!

AI Chat Design Update

We refined the chat UI for a cleaner, more intuitive AI experience, focused on usability and clarity for power DeFi users.

WachAI Agent Verification

We finalized WachAI integration into the multi-agent stack to verify agent decisions and boost execution trustworthiness.

Tech & Product Updates

October shipped some of the most impactful backend and frontend enhancements to date.

Deposit & Withdraw Flow Revamp

The new flow improves transparency and success rate for transactions across supported chains.

Charting & Mobile

Optimized mobile chart layout for better viewability
Introduced transaction failure alerts to keep users informed in real time
Now shows dev wallet buy/sell activity directly in token charts

Trenches Upgrades

Trenches now displays onchain balance
Added slippage controls for power users
Token Trending Bar added to top of app for quick insights
Added Chinese-to-English translation for memecoins on BNB Chain
Optimized “About to Graduate” section in Trenches

Gems Improvements

Gem rewards now includes daily trading bonuses
Displays projected Epoch allocation based on current activity

Multi-Chain & DEX Integrations

Integrated OKX DEX on BNB Chain for deeper liquidity
Implemented x402 on the portfolio layer for launching the first Agentic Portfolio
Added improvements to data and trading quote latency

DeFAI Agent Livestream

Hosted our second DeFAI Agent livestream with speakers from Velvet Unicorn, Athena AI, Gloria, and SQDGN. Sharing alpha on all the agents, discussing Velvet’s DeFAI OS, and discussed the overall market from the perspective of some top builders.
